Simon Chamakala is a dedicated Christian, loving husband, and proud father of three wonderful children. His journey from India to the United States in pursuit of the American dream speaks to his determination and resilience. Graduating from McKinney High School, Simon's early involvement in student unions and college activities laid the foundation for his lifelong commitment to community engagement.

As a licensed registered nurse in Texas, Simon's passion for healthcare shines through in his role as the Group Facility Administrator at DaVita Healthcare. His dedication to providing exceptional care extends to his recent venture in establishing a residential assisted living center for the elderly in Carrollton, reflecting his belief in dignified and compassionate treatment for all.

Simon's impact extends beyond his professional endeavors. From serving on the Mayor's Advisory Council to his active involvement in the Carrollton-Farmer's Branch Rotary Club, Simon's commitment to serving his community has been recognized with the 2023 Leadership Award from the City of Carrollton.

In his personal life, Simon finds joy in spending time with his family and supporting his children's involvement in the Scouts program. His philanthropic efforts, spanning from local volunteer work to leadership roles within the Knanaya Catholic community, exemplify his dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Education and Professional Journey
A graduate of McKinney High School, Simon has always been deeply involved in student unions and college activities. He pursued a career in nursing, becoming a licensed registered nurse in Texas. Currently, Simon serves as the Group Facility Administrator at DaVita Healthcare, managing a team of 250 employees in the Dallas Fort Worth region. His passion for healthcare extends to establishing a residential assisted living center for the elderly in Carrollton, aiming to provide world-class care and comfort.
Community Involvement and Recognition
Simon's commitment to service is evident in his various roles within the community. He served on the Mayor's Advisory Council, actively contributing to the betterment of Carrollton. Additionally, he has been a dedicated member of the Carrollton-Farmer's Branch Rotary Club, serving as a board member and fundraising director. Simon's contributions have been recognized with the 2023 Leadership Award from the City of Carrollton.
Family and Personal Life
Outside of his professional and community engagements, Simon cherishes spending time with his family. He actively supports his children's involvement in the Scouts program and enjoys being an Assistant Den Leader for Pack 749 in Carrollton. Simon's commitment to family values is reflected in his involvement in parish activities at Christ the King Church.

He actively volunteers at various organizations, including Metro Crest, Friendship of the House Food Bank, and Joes Pizza for the homeless. Simon is deeply engaged in the Knanaya Catholic community and serves in leadership roles at both local and national levels.
